One thousand and one perspectives. One field. One book.

I'm reaching out to economic development professionals to be part of a book called 1,001 Voices of Economic Development. I'm connecting with 1,001 people in the field and collecting short quotes from them. The goal is a free, easy-to-flip-through book that captures the real wisdom of the industry and the things you learn by doing the work.

Economic development is full of lessons that rarely get written down. They are shared in hallway conversations, over coffee, at conferences, and through years of doing the work. 1,001 Voices of Economic Development is an effort to collect those lessons in one place and share them freely with the field.

Contributions are short and informal. A sentence or a short paragraph is perfect. This is just something given back to the community.
